Merge Two Seperate Forums

Guys,

I used to run a forumj that has a french site and an english site, I have now decided to run both as one, so enlish and french as one single forum.

Is there anyway to merge two smf forums into one ?

I dont really need the board sturucture just the topics / messages.

There isn't a script available for this task I'm afraid. It's not a very easy task to merge two forums, since there will be duplicate ID's in topics, messages, boards, members and logs which will all need to get a new ID. Since this is a very complex task no script has been written for it, as far as I know.

Any way to merge an old e107 forum into a smf one then ?

You see i changed forums without knowing that there was a converter so I started again.

Now I know there is a coverter would like to get my posts back.

It wouldn't be any easier than merging two SMF installations unfortunately. It's a really painful process, and it has to be done carefully to avoid any problems.
