go to the admin menu, then ad management, under setting is where you can disable for admin, or enable for admin

then  the permissions menu under members section, click on modify for your group and check the "enable Ads" button

Go to your admin panel and go down left and click on permission, then you activate the ad mod per member group. The way you want it.

hi folks...

my host doesnt given a cpanel to me....

to install admod  i have to run query...

is there any chance to get phpmyadmin to run query....

and please tell me in detail how to install phpmyadmin...

Kenny01

You don't need to install phpmyadmin it should come with your MYSQL hosting account.

sfreak

dude...

my host doesnt given a cpanel...

then where i have find..that....

Kenny01

You need to change your hosting company, if not you're in for a hard time.

Kender

my host offers a cpanel but  i dont use it.. its not necessay and if you know your way around manual commands you dont need it...

i use phpmyadmin (uploaded, not the cpanel version because i like to keep the current versions) -- and no other cpanel options except to create databases (as the only master account access is via their cpanel)

he doenst need to change hosts if the service is what he needs at a price he likes, but he just may need to perform an extra step or too at times (like installing phpmyadmin instead of having an out of date version to use provided by the company)

if you need assistance setting up phpmyadmin i will gladly assist, send me a PM

@ lonrot: What are all your file permissions set at. ??? Are they 777 or 755. Can you change any options in the admin panel. ???

lonrot

Almost every file is 777.
And ofcourse I can change all the options in the admin panel.
The only problem I have is the ads not dissappearing for "post based membergroups".

Bigguy

And there are no errors in the error logs. ???

Not for Ad Management, or related.

Bigguy

This is the first time I have heard of this problem. Did you install it through the package manager or did oyu have to do some of the edits manually. ???

lonrot

We have spoken of this earlier. The install was manual and I checked all the edits.
I can give you access anytime to check my site.

Bigguy

Ok, PM me admin access and i will check this tomorrow for you.
