Hi Guys,

I have added this mod to a new site at :

http://holderness-coast-fishing.co.uk/forum/index.php

This is the YABB theme. The ads are not showing. Does the mod work with this theme and what else can I do to get it working ??

Bigguy

The template files of that theme have to be edited. Run the mod through the package parser. If it is already installed then just do the edits to the 4 template files it lists.

glennk

Thanks bigguy. Sound advice as usual.

I can't edit copyright area at all.
Does it somehow related with add management mod?

It also doesn't show anything I put from this mod in the bottom of forum.

Your not supposed to edit the copyright AlenNS. This mod adds a space above it.

AlenNS

That what I mean. To edit space around it. :)

Bigguy

Are you using a custom theme. ??? what do you mean you want to edit the space around it. ???

AlenNS

I'm using default theme SMF 2.0 Beta 4.

U want to put above copyright somr links and pictures but I can't.

Bigguy

Are all your edits done right to that part of the file.

AlenNS

Yes, they are. Even I trid to put through ad management mod, but nothing shows. Don't know why.

Bigguy

I see your adsense above the copyright. If thats what your talking about then it is showing. If you wanted to put more there you can by just creating another ad space for that area in the ad mod. Add your ads to it and on every page refresh it will show a different ad in that space.

Hi,

I have a problem with my ad mod not showing.

I recently installed forum version 1.1.7 but the database was older
so the themes and source files are 1.1.

I'm wondering if that is why it is not allowing me to add my ads or adsense?

In packages it is showing as "installed" but on the left in the administration
panel where it had been showing before the new install, to allow configuring of ads and to show the adsense... it is not showing.

How can I get the mod to show in admin  so that I can begin serving my
adsense ads again on all the pages?

Still need to know why my ads or ad mod is not showing on the forum?
Grateful for the help available here. Thanks.

Orite bigguy

I just realised the edits listed in the parser are for teh defualt theme. ie

/Themes/default/index.template.php

Will the edits be exactly the same for the classic yabb theme ??

Just as an example it says I have to find and replace the code shown below, but this code isnt in the classicyabb file

<div class="windowbg2 clearfix">';
