Help installing table manually

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
I am trying to integrate smf and joomla.  I used Fantastico through Cpanel to install smf and joomla.  I have upgrade both smf and joomla so that they are compatible with the bridge that will integrate them.

My problem is that when cpanel installed these it created 2 separate databases one with a smf_ prefix and one with a jos_ prefix.

I need to know how I get my two tables (jos_ and smf_) in the same database manually.  Can anyone help?

I have searched the instructions however it seems that I am not using the right nomenclature or terminology to get the correct search results.....

Forget about this.  I am trying to just re-install smf manually to share the same database as joomla.
