small problem with phpbb to SMF conversion

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
I recently converted to SMF and I thought in went flawlessly, aside from my subforums being converted to normal forums on SMF but thats no biggie, until i saw that it said i had 2 PMs i checked my inbox and there was nothing there. But i did have 2 PMs in the phpbb board, how do i get rid of these ghost PMs?

Admin -> Forum Maintenance -> Recount all forum totals and statistics
