Hey everyone,

I've been toiling away on my new project and wanted to get some feedback - it's still a work-in-progress.  I've chosen SMF as my discussion board system after much consideration and starting to like it!  I looked at some impressive Themes/Mods, however, I decided to first simply integrate the standard SMF into my template, then when I have more time going back and work on the details and making it more slick.

I'm happy to provide some help to the newbies (as I am one myself), but I have a strong background in PHP/MySQL and HTML development so I can offer some advice.  I do have some basic graphic design skills (more in optimization, banner ads, etc) but I usuall count on people more proficient then I am with photoshop/fireworks.  I've been playing around with the SSI.php functions too - they really help make your site more customized (you can see it on my homepage).  Take a look!
