What it be hard to do?......... I have 66 mods installed, lol....

Just some simple changes can make a difference. Like change the background maybe. Take a look at just the simple changes I made to the default theme with my forums. Did not want to put allot of work into it till 1.1 final comes along. lol

The easiest would be to make a copy of the default theme and then modify as required.

Do modify the backup rather than the actual thing

That's an interesting one.  I suppose if you're not checking your email and you're on your forum that could come in handy.  On the other hand, I usually have my pop email checked on the minute and I get notified of new registrations that way which works well for me.
