Just as a matter of interest, what in particular don't you like about it and what sort of customisation would you like to see?

Like I said in my original post, it looks too much like V Bulletin.

I'm not a customizer so I have no idea as to what customizations would be good. I have always just stuck to the default theme so upgrades and mods always went smoothly. As long as I can continue to do that without using "curve", I'll be a happy camper.

It's easy to customize, took me about an hour or so to get it roughly how I want it. Far simpler than older table based themes.

+1.
An example of a customization of Curve, which I did without touching template files (Only edited CSS and images, and added new images). Estimated work time: About 1,5hrs.

Awesome! 1.5 hours and you get that!

One question. Roughly how many more 'stage'(s) this has to go through before SMF release its public release?

As many as it takes. There was a lot of feedback from both Charter members and from deployment here before RC2 can be publicly released.

Yep, it's a good upgrade. Nice job SMF Team

There's a little problem that can be seen in Firefox 3.5 only (IE8, Opera & Chrome are not affected):

In quick jump area there's no room to the right of a board name text.

Good to know, looks nice Ben_S and  Nas  ;)
When we all can dowload this theme I will change it in light gray colours and also want it without the rounded corners.

Arantor

You'll be able to get this theme once RC2 goes public, Charter members already have it.

You can remove the rounded corners yourself without too much hassle.

Warrantica

So a theme called Curve without curves?  :P

Afro

I heard a rumour it could be going pub soon, though not from a reliable source

Arantor

RC2 will go public when the developers deem it ready based on feedback from Charter members and the results of deploying it here. It won't be public before that.

The rounded corners are the only good looking feature in this theme. JMHO
