Just to let everyone know, we are having a little bit of problem with some rogue queries.  It is being worked on but in the meantime the site performance might be lacking.

Don't worry though, we'll soon have a site that purrs.

SleePy

So we are changing from hamsters to kittens now ???

Glad our new servers though are still handling it very well.

cool, looking forward for the speed improvements

Awesome. I'm interested in how the my.cnf and httpd.conf will be tweaked. I just got a "Page created in 8.532 seconds with 15 queries" on the new setup, so I assume some tweaking is coming.

I assume Sphinx isn't being run here so if someone was doing a search at the time, that would be normal no doubt, even for such a beast of a server since MySQL is rubbish ;).

Yeah this site is loading a lot faster... this new server has better specs then the old one obviously :D Hopefully it can stand up to those rough times like it couldnt before :)

GravuTrad

I was searching for "restore_backup.php tool" and it appears only 2 new forum postings are listed as a result.

Is the old search database completely gone?

GravuTrad
