I have the paid subscription activated on smf 2.0b3.
As far as I know I have everything set up correctly.

I added the "http://www.darkvoid.org/poetry/subscriptions.php" to where it was stated on the " You can edit the link for paypal directly, by clicking here." I activated it. (on paypal)

I set up a new subscription in which when the member subscribes they get put into a membergroup
I filled out all the options.

Last night I had a member subscribe to the group the payment went thru fine, the money went into my paypal account but the member who subscribed did not get put into the membergroup which I had the subscription set to.

I can't figure why not. I am using a custom theme but all the options seem to be there so I am assuming it has nothing to do with that? any ideas?

Comments like that aren't going to encourage people to help you ::). You asked a question about a new feature which because SMF2 is new is also used by a limited set of people!

Any errors in your error log? (Admin area > Error log)

Well it got you to reply didn't it? bwhahaha...  j/k :)
I checked the error log and there doesn't seem to be any related, just normal type errors like failed login and guest errors.

Do you have the details from the subscription?  I mean like the receipt that paypal sends you.

Yes I got the "Notification of payment received" email from paypal. but on the paid subscription page in the admin, shows:

finished = 2 active = 0 activated = yes

In the receipt from paypal it should say something like xx+xxxxxx.  The first part is the id of the subscription and the second part is the id of the member.  Check to see that the id of the member is correct there.

Also have you had any downtimes or something?  Maybe at the time paypal went to post a response to your site, the site was down or something.

Yes the member Id is there and correct. Sometimes I do get the sites busy errors but this happens very seldom but it might of been one of them times.

I'm using the subscriptions feature on 2.0 without issue. The payments went through and the users were adding to the member groups. You did set the return url in paypal, correct?

@rsw686 yes

@JayBachatero I'll get back to you on that one my sites only small and low traffic so might be awhile before the next one :P

But I'll just wait and see than let you know how it went.

Alright then just keep us updated.  If others worked fine and this one was a legit subscription then most likely it was a glitch or something.
