Still hoping to understand why SMF Gallery won't work on a brand new install of 1.1.5.
Really want it working on my regular site but testing here first.

I installed SMF Gallery. The stall was fine but When clicking on the photo thumbnail or on edit or delete I get this message:

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /Mom-Me/index.php could not be found on this server.

It took me about two weeks but I finally got Vodapst to turned off Mod-Security.
So There must be something else going on. Unless they are not telling the truth. 
I  could never get SMF Gallery to work on my forum that is running...www.mom-me-dearest.com
because of this. I installed this one...www.mom-me-dearest.com/Mom-Me as a tester and I am having the same problem.
I installed tiny portal on the tester and I get the same problem when trying to edit or delete there. I really need help.

Could you explain what rule that affects gallery edite.d
Is this somw other rule regarding the host?

Shadis,, you are going to continue with install,, then take note of the files that did not update during the install properly.....

then go to the mod download section here at SMF and check into the procedure for manual install with your version of SMF,,

look up the .php file of yours that you are having issue with and just mod the php file yourself..

The only file that failed was /Modifications.english-utf8.php.

This file doesn't really mean much, and an easy way of fixing it would be to continue with the install, download modifications.english.php, rename it to Modifications.english-utf8.php, and replace the failed version of Modifications.english-utf8.php with the one you just made.

I did... it never applied anything to the forum, though it said it installed properly... no Gallery Configuration within the admin center, and it says that it installed properly... sooo... I uninstalled it, and went to reinstall, and it now states that there is a Modification Parse Error... so it looks like I shall have to manually install and see if this corrects the issue, was hoping not to have to do it manually, hitting a button and having it do it for you is easier... but I'll stop being lazy now

Well dont take my word for it,, this is just my opinion,,,,  but for cleaner files,, and sanity,, and not to mention when "things go wrong",, it is better to have done a manual install on mods...

To me it gives me insight into the workings of my site,, and after awhile,, when things go wrong,, I know where to go to fix it,,, as opposed to asking in forums and then  having to wait and wait for a reply..

I've installed Gallery, instalaltion was OK, but how do I work with it? There is no "gallery" button anywhere.

If you are using a custom theme you will need to manually add your gallery button.

hello.. i want to puchase the pro version with the copyrights removed.. before i will do that..i want to ask.. is a member capible for setting each photo to be displayd to other members? Some of my members want to upload private photo's and they want to disable the option that others can vieuw that photo... can this be done??
