I also installed this on a clean test site, 1.1.5 and got the same result. Button appears but no way of configuring it. As it seems a number of people have exactly the same problem it would be good if someone could figure this out.
It is in Admin = > features and options => button.
From there you can customize it.
If anyone would like to take over development in this mod, please contact me via PM.
I don't not have any time to work on this anymore.

Make sure you are using "English" for your Default Forum Language.

Adish - (F.L.A.M.E.R)

it kind of messes up navigation in phobos theme, any more changes to be done in index.template.php to solve it up ?

_Anthony_

I don't know, I have only tested this on the default theme....

The button installed great on 1.1.6.

How do I set it to open link in same window.

I don't want it to open a new IE window.

After a little sleuthing in the ybutton files and the Admin panel, I figured out how to manually modify the button :)

Go to your Admin section and click on FEATURES & OPTIONS.  RIGHT CLICK on LAYOUT & OPTIONS and COPY LINK LOCATION (for firefox users...IE users will have a similar choice).  Now, paste that into a notepad file.

It will look something like this: hxxp:yourforumurl.com/forum/index.php?action=featuresettings;sa=layout;sesc=wholebunchofnumbers [nonactive]

You want to replace LAYOUT with "yourbutton" (no quotes).

Then, copy that new url and paste it into your browser (make sure you are still logged into the admin account).  It will bring up the set of menu options for the button :)  Modify the url and the button title and click save.  You should see the results!

Let me know if you have any questions.  The problem lies in fact that the mod DOES add the options to modify the button, but for some reason it's not properly adding the tab to do so in the Admin panel.

I don't know why it's not adding it, worked fine for me.

Has anyone tried this in SMF 1.1.7?
I have, it worked fine.

ohioreef

Does it only create 1 button or can it create multiple buttons?

_Anthony_

Only one, unless you want to install it multiple times.

rusgard

Hi,

has someone tested it with the 2.0 RC1 already?

Or is there another easy way to integrate new buttons?

Thanks
rusgard

Doesn't work to 2.0 RC1. And I have stopped updating this.
