Anyone help with my earlier problem of duplicate code? :(

I want to remove ads for my moderators and global moderators.

Have tried adding permission to moderators - i mean, enable ads permission. It shows the value in phpmyadmin and no such link in the forum permissions page.

okay, i have a question. is there an ad mod for 1.1.6? because i installed the mod to my site and the link won't show up on my admin panel. its not under 'configuration', like it said it would be? then i looked over the specs and i saw that the mod wasn't for 1.1.6. Is there one? If not will there be one?

And if i downloaded the right version, then how do i get to the ad mod page?

learjet45

I think it should work. If you language set to english cqinzx? It needs to be english, not english-utf-8

cqinzx

im new to all this stuff. how do i do that?

cqinzx

Oops nevermind, i got it. Thank you so much! you really helped.

Will this work with 1.1.6 and dilber MC? I installed it the other day but seen no change to the forum, so i removed it...

Hi all,

I installed the mod and every other thing is working perfectly except that the ads only show in IE. I've tested on Opera, Firefox and Netscape but they don't appear.

Is there a browser compatibility issue with the mod or is there something I didn't set right? Anyone experiencing a similar issue?

PS: I suspect that the problem would be with my index.template.php file so I attached it just in case. I'm  using SMF 1.1.5 (upgraded to 1.1.6 after installing ad mod) . Using the default theme and TinyPortal.

Thanks.

LoadAds.php is missing/corrupt from your sources directory. Please make sure that it uploaded properly. The Ad mod won't be able to function properly.

i uploaded laodads.php and all wanted files ??
There is no need to think or choose . just smf

ThePro

put LoadAds.php as the name of the file instead of loadads.php remember, linux is caps sensitive

netco

So is this mod configured for images? If so how do I set that up? Or if not, is there a way to do it? I don't know much about php.

@ simbergusa: Upload an image somewhere and put the link in the ad mod using img tags:

Or

@ lorenzone92: I don't think it would be compatible yet

Bigguy

@ netco: Have you checked permissions on the LoadAds.php file. ???

MultiformeIngegno

There is a post here on the forum that explains how to manually add the adsense code. It might be an old thread but it keeps getting posted in so you might find a solution there to adding it manualy. :)
