Ok here is the exact error which my client is facing:-

Duplicate entry '11783-16' for key 3
File: /home/skywise/public_html/forum/Sources/RepairBoards.php
Line: 190

Look for repairBoards.php in my attachment.

ekfaysal

I used your repairboard.php and it gives me this error when i click on Find and repair any errors.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function adminindex() in /home/dreamsma/public_html/Sources/RepairBoards.php on line 62

Adish - (F.L.A.M.E.R)

And i just used yours and it gave me

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/skywise/public_html/forum/Sources/RepairBoards.php on line 1300

We are going to bring our forums a new height if we start doing these things LOL.

i think i know what is really tha problm

when i updated my forum to smf 2 beta 3, i tried to put some urdu langauge text there..
it showed me only lots of ????? question marks..

then i asked in this forum about it.
someone refered me to a thread that discussed how to show chinese charactors..
i think this was tha topic
Quotehttp://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=168669.20

a guy told a sql query and i did what he said
surprisingly it worked and my forum was working..
but when i checked with this thing.. means forum maintanance--> Find and repair any errors.then this thing started happening...

So i strongly beleive this happnd due to that sql query
but i dont know how to remove it

I asked him
but he is not replying..
thats why im afraid of updating my forum to smf2beta4 because i think it gona dead if i do this...

i hope i convayed what i did.
not so strong english hhaha  :D

The client is using 1.1.6, Really cant figure it out. Anything you think which has made changes in repair boards.php by anychance ? i cant seriously think of any paths which can lead me to solve it myself. :(

ekfaysal

Only two things can mess up
SQL queries or any bad modification..
but i m not progromer or that much good
so i dont know

uhhhmm...  FLAMER, I thought this was 2.0?

The RepairBoards that was posted was from 2.0, but the one you posted is for 1.1.  Thus it would cause that undefined function error most likely

I just took a fresh repairboards.php from 1.1.6 pack and it gave me the same message:-
Duplicate entry '11783-16' for key 3
File: /home/skywise/public_html/forum/Sources/RepairBoards.php
Line: 190

i'm lost now... :S

This is in smf 2.x support, the file you originally posted me was from SMF 2.0... So what version exactly is being ran here?

its 1.1.6 actually in mine, its just realated hence i posted it here. I know i should have made a new topic, but rather not call upon everyone for both the issues, i thought it would be better over to finish it here. ;)

Rumbaar

I'm sure it relates to a duplicate entry in a table (most likely messages) for entries 31380-41, finding and removing the incorrect duplicate row entry will most likely fix the issue.

As mine is 1.1.6 issue, i created a new topic here:- http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=265981.0

Kindly see if any information present there might help you out and some solutions for me. ;)

Rumbaar

ekfaysal search your message table and ID_MSG field for 31380 and see if you can find the duplicate entries that are causing the error.
