You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

What can I do to activate this mod ? The above mentioned error appears.

The error does not seem to be related to this particular mod. Instead, it looks like there's some ACL issue with your hosting's environment. You should check that the user under which your webserver is running has write access to the Packages directory.

It doesn't but you could easily DIY following installation instructions on the mod page.

Some of the custom edits don't exist in smf 2 rc2...

I'll probably get kicked in the a** for opening an old topic lol but does anyone know of any 2.0.4 alternatives to this ?

I'd like to ue this in conjunction with the SMFHacks Ad Management mod.
