I'm don't know if you've heard of postimage.org, but if you have, is this a similar program?
Does it work the same way?

I don't know about this site but we offer a large set of option .

sheryltoo

I just added it to my test site so I could try it out.
It works nice but I wasn't quite sure what all the different options were for as far as the urls connected to these options.
I used the "direct link to image "and copied it into the insert image pop up and it showed up in my message.
However, it ends up giving the image a white background. Is there a different option that would keep a transparent gif, transparent?

please let me know the url of this page with the image so i can get a better idea.

sheryltoo

I see what happens. When I upload an image from my computer and hit "process now," it turns into a jpg.
Is there a way to prevent that from happening?
Here's a link to the page with the image on it and all the links. Is that what you need?

No i need the link of the page in your forum .
But in theory all image are automatically converted to Jpg in order to preserve the highest quality and best compatibility .

Two suggestions:

1. make admins able to modify what options to be available and what default checkboxex to be applied (like the private one).

2. after uploading insert the bbc code directly into the post textarea instead of leting the poster copy the link and paste it. Ideally is to insert the bbc code where the type cursor is in the text.

I assure you that if you do these changes your mod (and your site) will be much more used!
Oh and please make sure it works to enter the bbc code when the editor is WYSIWYG :)
Thanks!
Today, if you're not confused it means you're not thinking clear!

Hi...
I have modified my page with Advanced image uploader mod.

I found "<span class="smalltext"><br />', $txt['shortcuts'], '</span><br />" in ./Themes/default/Post.template.php

and then

I have added "<iframe src="hxxp:www.xtupload.com/new/iframe.php [nonactive]" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" width="530" height="610"> You must have an iframe-compatable browser to view the hxxp:xtupload.com [nonactive] upload form.</iframe>;
"
before the above coding.

Now my page is modified with Advanced image uploader and i can able to browse the image, but.......

After clicking the post button, that image is not uploading ,

Plz tell me what i have to do......

gargouri2001

Hi there ;
U have to upload the image first using the process now button then chooses the code according to your need , past it in the message area then u can click the post button.

sheryltoo

It would also be nice if you could add a feature that doesn't change a gif into a jpg. If someone wants to use this program to upload an animated gif, it will no longer be animated using this program.
I purposely save many of my graphics as transparent gifs because I don't want them to have a background but when the program changes it to a jpg, it's no longer transparent.
