Repeating Events for Calendar

Has anyone tried this on 1.1.9? Only Calendar mod I have now is colored border on calendars.

I wouldn't attempt it, this hasn't been touched on over 2 yrs.

i will incorporate this back  into the phatCalPack when 2,0RC1 is released

This repeating event for the Calendar seems like it would be "Mandatory" for the SMF 2 release. I'm sure that 99.9% of every SMF user in the world will find this useful.

Hope it gets implemented.

Has there been any update on this?  Use in RC1-1 would be great!

I can't believe this isn't a standard feature of SMF yet.  It is HIGHLY requested

Well, the calendar hasn't changed that much since 1.1 really, and from what I remember from discussions, the calendar was never really meant to be a big thing in SMF. I heard even that it was really intended to be split off and made a mod rather than a core feature because it's unrelated to the actual part of a forum.

That said, integrating this and RSVP would be good if it's going to stay.

This mod installed fine, but nothing shows up on the calendar. I especially was interested in the moon phases.  I changed the colors so they would show up better. I'm running 1.1.11. Anyone have any ideas?

why do people never read the threads or use search before they post?

you are likely using some other language than English (and english utf-8 is different from english)
Which means that you will have to update your language files manually.

I did read through the posts. I am using English.

if you are actually using english (again, NOT english-utf-8) then the mod did not successfully install the text strings into your english language file(s) and you will still have to manually add them.

Well it was that my language was set to utf-8. Now that is fixed I wonder if there is any chance of getting something added? I am in a club that meets every Tuesday with different meetings each one. Four times a year we have a different meeting on the fifth Tuesday. Right now this mod only allows 1st-4th and last options. Obviously if I choose last it will put it on the 4th if there isn't a 5th. Any chance of getting a 5th option?

unfortunately, this mod is currently "dead"

The original author (sort-of-me) handed it to Chris and Chris has stopped all work, development and interest in it.

So, sorry, but, at this point, there will be no updates.
