I had the same issue as njdevils28 re:-

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/content/c/i/t/cityofgamers/html/smf/Sources/Subs-Graphics.php on line 227

Fortunately I was able to look at your modified code in the relevent reply, and make the necessary change. I posted it here as a retrospective thank you, but also in case anyone had the same issue after upgrading to RC1-1

Alright, feel like I am beating hy head against the wall at the moment.  Installed just fine on SMF 2.0 RC1-1, set my permissions, fixed the line 227 error.  I can upload pics, on main gallery page, says total images 1, but when I click the gallery, I get  "There are no pictures inside this category".  If I ftp into the site, file is in the /forum/gallery folder, which is where it should be.  In Support credits I have:  GD version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

I have no Idea why.....

Is the picture approved? Check under Admin -> Gallery -> Approvals

There should be some code in the view_picture template area that references the ID_PICTURE just copy that line and as long as your adding to code to the view_picture template area it should work fine.

No problem forgot for SMF 2.0 I had to lowercase all the variable.

Hi, is there any option to just take the first picture of a post and create a gallerie with the name of the post. The idea is to make a car gallerie. Every user creates its own post, with pictures of his car. Then I wish the gallerie to pick the pictures from the post automatically.
Is that possible?

No way currently to pick up images from a post.
But the gallery I think can create create pictures on a category to a post.

Since we upgraded to 2.0 RC1-1 from 1.1.9 we have been unable to add or view images.

I get this error in the log:

File: /home/visionar/public_html/Themes/default/Gallery2.template.php
Line: 333

Warning Gallery path is not writable!

Fatal error: Call to undefined function DoToolBarStrip() in /home4/lousyatg/public_html/Sources/Load.php(1736) : eval()'d code on line 47

Check that your Gallery path is correct under Admin -> Gallery Configuration should be
/home4/lousyatg/public_html/gallery/
And that folder needs to be writable
