Try this file.
Hardcoded the gallery text
And removed the permission check for the button

Needs the user id.
What I would suggest is to hide the tab from guests.
But everyone else gets to view the tab and you can grab the member id from
$ID_MEMBER for SMF 1.1.x or $user_info['id'] SMF 2.0.x

What do you mean exactly ?? and do you understand what i am actually trying to do ?? Sorry i just re-read that what i wrote and must of been tried writing it that night..lol. Cause was a little hard for me to understand re-reading it .. haha

Basically just like i can set the profile settings with no member id.. like so

?action=profile;sa=forumProfile

instead of

?action=profile;u=1;sa=forumProfile

That way it works for everybody and with no member ID set in the URL but so it brings them right to there own images only page.
oohh and yes, the tab dropdown links is visible but i have the gallery set private for guest so when they do try if they even do click on on of the links it takes them to the login page.

I need to see examples of log errors. I need to know the version of SMF you are using.

I hope I am doing this right and in the correct place.

I am getting errors like this on version 2.0.7 of this mod using SMF version 1.1.10:

Are you using a custom theme?
Is that the only error are you getting or others?

I am using the Extreme6 theme.

That is the only unexplained error I am getting, and the only one that has to do with the gallery.

p.s. There we about 37 of these errors in a row.

I already have all the rest set, including the add picture. They can click add picture right from there private top navlink for each member.Just cant get that "one' freakin one to work.

You can alter the myimages function in the template to grab $ID_MEMBER then you do not have to pass anything and could drop the u from the url

Would be found in gallery.template.php in the themes/default folder
then in the template_myimages function.

Hi I have just installed v 2.0.7  All is fine uploading an image but when the thumbnail is clicked I get "You don't have permission to access /94board/index.php on this server."
Can any one give me a pointer?

Hey VB, 117 pages for not reading thru everyone 1st.  How do I upgrade to Gallery Pro.  Already got the 2.0 Beta 3 but not sure how to do the upgrade.  Found the instructions but don't even know where to find ./index.php.  I have Cpanel and Filezilla if either will help.  Please be specific.

You would just need to uninstall the lite edition. The install the pro edition using the package manager.

Currently my Gallery version is 1.4.5 and it is says the latest version is 2.5.3.  So I should go into packages and uninstall the current and then install the new one which should show up on the list?  Or is there another way to update the version I have now?

OK When I try to Uninstall the lite version it says Error, cannot be found.  I looked in the list and the Pro version is there as ver. 1.4.5  Hmmmmmm.
