I have SMF Gallery Lite on my SMF ver 1.1.10 forum and it works great !  Question:  Is there a way to upload the images to the gallery from the 'New Post window', similar to Simple Image Upload ?  OR can the user embed the pic from the Gallery into a post ? We often discuss pics, and this would integrate the two much better.

Another question - I have a gallery dedicated to art, and would like to add a new gallery (with a different button on the nav bar) for photography.  Is this possible ?

What you could do is create two categories one for art and one for photography in the gallery.

Then in the navbar just add a link to each category.

Thanks, but I have a category for each artist.  If I do what you say, then all of the artists would need to be combined into a single gallery correct ?  I basically need a parent-child relationship, or in other words, the capability to have sub-categories so that I can have a gallery for each artist.  I am using SMF Gallery Lite, is this capability in SMF Gallery Pro ?

Just installed this MOD as I was looking for a clean gallery mod, however I have no link on my menu bar.

Umm make sure you have your forum's language set to English

And be sure to copy the text from
themes/default/languages/modifications.english.php to themes/yourthme/languages/modifications.english.php

Hi there, I was hoping I could get some help with this mod.

The issue I am having is I would like to uninstall then reinstall the mod since my forum had a crash yesterday and I had to reinstall my mods. The reason why I want to uninstall is because the gallery url is not showing up properly (sends back to index) and I am not sure where to find it/fix it. I was using version 2.0.5 and was thinking about upgrading to the 2.0.8 version.

The problem is when I try to uninstall I am getting a few errors.

Yes. I had to re-upload some of the core files.

Are you using SMF 1.1.x? If so a custom theme requires an edit to include a link/button to the gallery
