I love this mod! However, I cannot figure a couple things out.

First, how do I assign permissions at the category level? Example, I have two categories, Just for Students and Just for Leaders. The students have no need (nor should they be allowed) to see the Just for Leaders category and the quizzes included in that category.

Second, how do I assign permissions at the quiz level? Example, In the Just for Leaders category, I have quizzes for New Leaders and Level One Leaders. A person who wishes to become a leader must complete the New Leader quizzes just be be a leader. Once they have completed the New Leader quizzes, they are moved from New Leader membergroup to Level One Leader Membergroup. At this point, they need to complete the Level One Quizzes to advance to a Level Two Leader. The New Leaders are not allowed to see the Level One Leader quizzes until they have completed the New Leader quizzes and have been moved to the Level One Leader membergroup.

I looked everywhere and could not find a way to set permissions in this fashion. I guess my question is, if this is not a default setting, how would I add the code to do this. I am still quite new to php and even though I have learned quite a lot thus far, I still do not quite understand everything. The permissions really confuse me and I am having a hard time figuring this out.

Please help.

Thank you,
Kratos

Yes, I am still supporting the mod, although I don't have time to work at it at the moment. With regard to your questions, permissions have not been implemented other than to simply allow the mod to be used ot not. If you post a request on the http://www.smfmodding.com site I will improve it when I get some time.

Thanks

king kratos

Thank you, I will do that now. I only asked if it was still supported because some of the mod threads don't ever get request responses from the author anymore.

Thank you for clarifying this info.

I un-installed this fab mod when I upgraded to the new smf 20 rc2 from the rc1 version, will it work on 2.0 or would it be best to wait.

This looks like fun, I think I'll have a play with it on a test forum and see if it works on RC2

Does this mod have the ability to place a member who passes a quiz into a membergroup?

Not that I've seen.  That would bee a cool mod though.  Instead of membergroups being requestable or paid or free to join, it would be cool to have a membergroup function that allowed members to take a test to figure out if they got into a group.

That's exactly what I need, but I can't seem to find anything for that in SMF 2.0 RC2.

It does work, but with some issues (that can be overcome easily). Also there are some minor presentation problems with the new curve theme.

I haven't had time to look into the changes for the latest SMF version due to work commitments. If anyone has coding experience and wants to help out, feel free to contact me.

does this mean it installs on v2 rc2 now ?

C4G-TK

I've got it working on RC2.  I went to his website and downloaded a package there.  I'm just getting one error about a DB matter that I posed on the site, but it is working fine.
