Well , u could upload the BoardIndex  of the Default + core))) theme in BRv2/folder & it should work if that's the only template involved ?

it's still not working - does this mean that there is more then one template involved? and how would I fix it?

Try copying your /Themes/default/languages/MembersOnlineToday.english.php to

/Themes/yourtheme/languages/  folder 

replace yourtheme with whatever your theme's folder name is

Try this board index file in the BR folder. This is the original with the mod's edits added.

it's working now, except now my downloads mod isn't showing up on the button list - sorry for all the trouble.

I'm just confused though, why is the skin not interegating itself anymore?

There may be some other problems with your forum. That mod does not edit BoardIndex.template.php whatsoever. Are there any errors in your error log?

all the errors I got had to do with my downloads mod - I uninstalled the mod and reinstalled Black Rain V2 but the mods still do not interegate.

I honestly have no idea what the issue is.  At this point, my only suggestion is to manually edit all the Theme template files that each mod installs. Use the mod parser to get all the manual edits required for each mod.

To get the manual instructions for each mod, go to the download page of that mod. Look to the right and choose your SMF version on the manual installation line, then click the parse button beneath it.

one more question , I can't get the mod Custom Board Icons (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=511) to work - I did the phrasing but the code seems to be different. Not sure if you could help.

Sorry, I have never used that one. Try the support thread for that mod, I am sure someone there can get it working for you.
