Hey me again  ::)

I can't seem to get the add to display.
I've edited permissions for each membergroup already but can't seem to get it to work.
Is there anything I overlooked?

Are you using a custom theme?

Were there any errors on install?

Arantor

Better question would be what language you're using, English, English-UTF-8, English British or English British UTF8.

abidejaz4u

no ...no error...
and english language...utf8...it also working...in start it will working fine now its doing like this

Arantor

I don't think the mod has support for English UTF-8.

From your screenshot your using a custom theme you will have to install the mod manually on that theme if you go to the mod page on the right you select your version of smf and parse it this will tell you all the edits you need to make you only have to make the edits for the files in your theme.

I am using a custom theme and English-UTF-8

vbgamer45

There is no reason to use english utf8 so I would suggest to use just english it works a lot better with mods.
Custom themes require edits

I changed the default language to english in settings.php, but still no one can see the ads.

For ads you have to enable it under permissions. I fixed this in the current release.

Admin -> Permissions -> Modify each group

Find Enable Ads permission.

Sorry I forgot to include I have already edited permissions.
Is there anything else I might have overlooked?
I did a manual install and everything should have worked I think  :o

If you have a custom theme you will have to edit any of the themes .template.php files where the ad manager code is added.

do you mean just
/Themes/default/index.template.php
/Themes/default/BoardIndex.template.php
/Themes/default/Display.template.php
/Themes/default/MessageIndex.template.php

because I edited all of those during the installation already >_<

vbgamer45

No those fine the package manager does that but your custom theme you would need to edit it.

Ohh alright I understand. So I make the same edits as I did in those files to the ones in my custom theme?
Thanks for your replies.
