GoDaddy updating?

Well, for one thing, I'm startled that our time zones have collided and coincided.

Had to be standby untill about an hour ago. And now I'm clearly awake, of course

Alright, I tried to upload again and this time I got the error of "unable to upload Sub" and then it shut off. But then I ran it again and I didn't get any popups and then it went in fine. Now its uploading the themes part of the update.

Oh, and here are all the themes I manually installed. Should I delete them or something?:
argentum20rc3
babylon (not sure if I installed this, or if its always on)
bluelight
dark_vistia
Siyah_inci

Babylon is part of the package. It should be updated now.

As for the others, you'll need to install the versions for 2.0.x (if available). The argentum one seems to be for 2.0 RC3, if I'm not mistaken. Did that work on your 1.1.11 forum?

Yes, I am relieved. I didn't mean to cause harm though, I was actually trying to edit my post because I saw that she said she was heading to bed, but I couldn't get the verification right (bad eyes)....

Yea, the theme worked, but a few of the buttons and stuff was messed up, but I just fixed that within the code. It said it worked on both, so I picked it lol

I'm gonna do the updating part again and run the stages and see if it works....

Okay, it fails at step 5 with the same error as before....

Oh, if it helps, I had mods installed on the forum....

I didn't realize you'd edited your post, MagiteElite, it didn't bump the thread.  I'm confused as to why you ran the upgrade again, when it was successful before? 

Is it the "unable to load Subs.php" error or the "ucwords" error you're getting?

The upgrade never finished, it stopped and I got this error. I'm getting a "ucwords" error but for Load.php on line 2002..

Hmmmm....   actually that line (2002) is exactly what it should be; it has nothing to do with mods. 



Now.....  tell me if I misunderstood, but, earlier, were you able to get past this error?  I remember you said you'd moved on to themes.  Why did you start the upgrade again?

Tell you what, MagiteElite... since you're not uploading images, now, but just files, try uploading the files as ASCII, instead of Binary.  We can always reupload them again, if we need to, but try it that way, for now.  Start with just the source files and run the upgrader again.  (Start the upgrader from the beginning instead of letting it resume.)

Let's see what happens.  (Just to double check... you did back up your database before you started all this, yes?)

Okay, let's do this.  Do you have more than one browser?  Upload a fresh Load.php file and put the link to upgrade.php into a different browser and start it over, not resume.  If you don't have another browser, clean the cache and cookies in the one you're using. You want to restart the upgrade from the beginning.  There's a little check mark that says "start from where you were" or "resume" or some such thing.  Uncheck that, so that you'll start from the beginning.

I don't like it either, but it just got pass the Error!

But it says this and won't let me pass:

Delete this upgrade.php and its data files now. (doesn't work on all servers.)
