I still don't understand what you want.

there is a reason to use a code bbc code and it is not to allow someone to have a clickable link, doing so would require a lot of coding a rewriting of how the bbc code parser works.

As in, a nested URL BBCode in a [code] tag

I'm not even sure he administrates an SMF forum.

My guess is that he visits a wa*ez forum and doesn't like their code tags.

If it IS for his own forum, I'd suggest using the word censoring to replace the code tags with blanks.

Kinda, it's like sticking them to the download program and then force it to download the link
