I'm getting this too? did u have any luck. my main problem is that my folders are read-only. But i'm not sure if thats the reason.
Do you have write permissions on your folders i.e. forum, themes, source, etc?

i'm having a similar issue. i would like to check to see if dbase driven sessions is enabled, but each time i try to access the admin settings it says i'm not logged in "Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again." i've tried using ie 6 and firefox and i get the same problem. i have cleared all cookies and it's the same.

is there a way to do this from the database level?

What version of SMF are you using? You can use repair_settings to disable or enable database driven sessions.

What is repair_settings.php?

How to enable Database Driven Sessions from Admin CP?

Edit: It is already enabled, but still I got the error.

When do you get this error? Did you try clearing your browser cache already? Is it happening to more than one browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)?

See if this helps...try to do this when there are not many users online as it will kick them all out:

Go into phpMyAdmin and click on your database. Then click on the SQL tab and copy paste the following code and run it:

TRUNCATE smf_sessions;
TRUNCATE smf_log_online;

stmartin

It didn't help. First I did the SQL command, and then delete cache/cookies, tried to log-in, still same error.

I suggest you start your own thread and include all errors you have, version of SMF and any mods installed.
