A couple of seconds ago I got this prompt after posting a reply on my site:

Since then the lag has been unbearable

So, what mods do you have that are slowing it down, and have you asked your host about it? (Out of interest, who is your host?)

XHIBIT911

The absolute worst host known to mankind Cirtex. The level one support always gives incorrect solutions and the level 2's are the only ones that get things fixed

Arantor

They're probably half your problem, if not more.

XHIBIT911

Yeah the level one just said theyre retweaking the servers and try later...I'm fairly certain this isnt gonna fix it and the only new mod installed 3 days ago is the ajax post reply/pm notifier

XHIBIT911

Yeah this is crap now all I get is

It's a problem at their end, talk to them to get them to fix it.

XHIBIT911

FINALLY  !!
I swear if they werent hosting me for free behind them screwing up another one of my websites I would have left a long time ago

Arantor

Here's the thing about free hosts: you get *exactly* what you pay for. You want better service, you will have to pay more for it.

XHIBIT911

Yeah, but theyre not free in the literal sense. I have a paid plan, they just screwed up one of my sites due to overcrowding their servers and I raised such a commotion they moved me to a semi dedicated server and host me free of charge for 1 year

Arantor

Thing is, if you'd already been on the wrong end of them screwing you over because of their incompetence, why would you stay with them, even if you were getting something for free?
