I am using database driven sessions, should I turn it off? Also, I had a few people test the version without mambo and they didn't have the problem. BUT , they only posted a few times and it's really a random problem so it's hard to say for sure. Any other ideas? My members are complaining.

Yes, you have to have it off for Mambo integration to work properly.

I fixed this by omitting the double post checking :p

I rather have my mods remove a double post (which hasn't happen even 1ce in over a month of operation with SMF) then having a funky system give false positives all the time. Which it did for every few posts made when it was still default.

Strolen

I have been getting this error since I installed  RC1 and when I upgraded to RC2  it is still there.(hxxp:www.strolen.com/guild/ [nonactive]).

Doesn't matter what browser or what network I use. Opera, mozilla, firebird, MSIE.... At work and at home. At work the error happens every time, not sure if the proxy is a factor. At home only occassionally. At work I never use multiple browser windows, at home I always do. I am using the smf_api on the rest of my site.

The work around I have done that works every time is (whether it is a quick reply or going to the reply screen) if I do a preview and then send it, it works fine. If I do the quick reply, do preview, I must do preview again from the main reply screen and then it takes. If I don't do the preview I can click Post and Back forever and I continue to get the error.

Granted, I just found this thread so I haven't tried any of the fixes, so will see how that works out tonight. Figure I would mention my experience.

Hula

We omitted the double post checking code and this fixed itself as well.

Funny because it was working great until yesterday and although we moved posts from another site there's not much else we did. Then suddenly after 1 post both of us testing got that errror.

Anyway all is working - thanks for the fix.

Does somebody mind telling me how to omit the double post code?
What file is it in?
Line numbers?

EDIT: Nvm I found it

For those that are wondering, its line 1507 of post.php (thats what it is for me anyways)
Just comment out the part that says:
checkSubmitOnce('check');

It happens to me on a cvs version of RC3 as well :(
gog what is the date on the CVS?  IIRC this was fixed after the latest CVS given to the internationalization testers.

gog

Yes, I have that "internationalization testers" edition. Nice news :)

Glad you all mentioned that. I was about to ask were they were hiding the RC3 update lol  8) ;D ;)
