Check For Javascript, Etc.?

I think something that would be pretty cool to have would be the ability for SMF to check see if javascript, etc. is enabled / installed in the browser.

Since certain SMF functions use it, it'd be neat for it to automatically check, and if not enabled / installed, give a text message (or whatever) somewhere in a pretty obvious place stating so.

I can think of one simple, theoretical way to do this.

Use Javascript to set a cookie and then see if PHP can read the cookie, if PHP finds the cookie is set then we know JS is enabled... its purely theoretical but it could work ;)

You could also edit login. And check whatever password was sent hashed or not. This may have some down sides
