Huh? SHopHRM? Who's that? Im HRM but who is ShopHRM? What a weird name my o my...

Anywway, I have an example for you Jay,

Just activated the resize function and this is what shows up now:

http://www.muziek4um.nl/index.php?action=mediacenter;sa=images

At this moment the size is imited to 300 x 300 cause otherwise if would even show less pictures.

To install something for the cat's 'cut' is never nice..... (old dutch saying) :D

Tanks

There is still a bug in this mod Jay  :o

Only admin see the images.. i checked on my own board and i checked on HRM's board... all other than admin gets red crosses  :'(

Sorry to be a pain in the ass  8)

huh? Dont see any of my pics? And what if you click the red cross?
I really thought had given guest the permission to see the attachments.

I can just see some of the images(the ones smaller 300px) if I go to my forum as a guest with another browser.

When first goin to your page all i saw was red crosses.. now if i click to the next page of images i can see some of them.. here is a screenshot of what it looks like.. i have same problemo on my site.

Edit: Hmm okey i found a solution on my board.. i have to give the membergroups permission to view all media.. video, music, images.. or else they get the red crosses .. very strange  ???

2nd Edit: To work around this i had to make images show as default. (since i dont have any music or videos)

Do this by goin into sources/mediacenter.php and change
// Determine the default action.
if ($context['can_listen'])
$default = 'music';
elseif ($context['can_see_videos'])
$default = 'videos';
elseif ($context['can_see_images'])
$default = 'images';

To this
// Determine the default action.
$default = 'images';

Next step is to remove the music and movie buttons from the mediacenter.template.php... then it will be like it was before  ;)

Still this is just a work around to hide the bug. its not a fix for the bug  :P

Tnx for the screenshot Knat.

It's exactly what I meant but thats the issue with the resize option activated. If that one is off its no problem. Now it only shows picture of 300px width or lower (same for the height) as i putted that as the limited size (max weidth 300 and max. height 300).

That guests need specific permission to see the mediacenter sounds ok to me. :)

But if you turn on all the mediacenter permissions for all the usergroups the bug is gone even if you have resize pictures set to something..  :o and the bug not only affects guests but also registered users as well !

Hm..... Indeed... on your site the thumbnails work perfect.

And this while those are big images. Did you put the limit size to 140x140 both height and width?

Umm they work for me.  Look at my site also.
http://www.lomaximoforum.com/index.php?action=mediacenter;sa=images

I am sorry to say that they dont work.. only the ones that are not resized by SMF works.. look at the screenshot  :(

On my board all the images are resized so none worked.. then i gave all membergroups all mediacenter permissions and they started to work.. if i remove permission for lets say music they stop working again..  ::)

I did some changes to your mod template to better suit my needs.. i hope that is okey with you.. i didnt remove the credits  ;)

I hope you figure out what cause this.. i really feel bad being the one who discover this bug   :o

I just PM'd you this, JayBachatero, but I'll post it here so that others can see.  Looks like you've begun to address some of these issues:

I just started playing around with your media center mod, and I was wondering if you could point help me out.  I like how it organizes the files, but I wanted to know if there is a way to take the 4 (or however many) most recent attachments and put them up on my index page as thumbnails.  I'm also curious if it is possible for me to have full-size attachments in the posts themselves but only thumbnails when you are viewing the media center.

I hope you can help me out, but I at least wanted to let you know that others might like this functionality as well.

-------
I'll clarify what I had to say:  I think the ability to sort by date would be very useful, and the ability to output the X most recent images as thumbnails.

I heve the same problem on my forum and on JayBachatero's link: some pictures thumbnails are not appearing (appears the X ... )

There is any solution ?

JayBachatero

Ok this x error is weird.  I just browsed as a guest and they all show.  Can you take an output of the html source and post it?

The settings for my attachments are:
Display image attachments as pictures under post: On
Resize images when showing under posts: On
Maximum width of thumbnails: 145
Maximum height of thumbnails: 145

Look at my site now.  I removed the thumbnail settings and they still show.

Yup.  Still works for me.

Possibly a browser or localized connection issue?

I'm not really sure what might it be.

It's odd how HRM's board only shows some of the images . . . did he say it was related to thumbnail size, or was I skimming too fast?

it is related to two things... the first is the thumbnail size the second is permissions..

If you choose to resize you picture then the red x appears... but if you give all permissions... see music.. see videos.. etc.. then the resized images shows again and the bug is gone.. so i went with that solution..  :)
