Deleting threads older than X days

Hi! If I use the option under 'Forum Maintenance' to 'Remove Old Posts' would it decrease people's post counts, if someone posted in a removed topic? If so how would I change this so it wouldn't?

Ah right! So if I put changed what I did in that topic, peoples post counts won't go down if I automatically delete old threads?
