When I try to visit the gallery, it turns into this: http://attish.yfma.com/forums/gallery/

Whats up wit dat?

Appears to be a misconfiguration of the gallery link.

Open Admin > Gallery Configuration > "fix the URLs".

Is fix the url a option?  , how do i fix em?

It's not an option, you have to follow the instructions written under it. Make the URLs like how they are suggested.

If you are using a custom theme you will need to copy the text to themes/yourcustomthemes/langauges/modifications.english.php

Does your theme have a /languages directory? To check, go to your theme in $smf_root/Themes/*theme_name*/ via FTP.
How do I use FTP? / What is FTP?

If it doesn't have it's own /languages directory, make sure all the $txt[] strings that this mod inputs in modifications.english.php in the $smf_root/Themes/default/languages/ directory are in there.

the text was in the default languages folder. not working.

tried creating a languages folder in the custom theme and placing it in there. still not working.

I'm still pretty new to working with all of this here. I'm getting the following error messages in my error log after installing the mod...

What does this mean? I have added the write permissions to the files mentioned here, but I still get the errors.

Hi I have a small problem to sort out how ever my php aint to good my gallery is here http://finsforum.co.uk/index.php?action=gallery;cat=1 the background is nasty and makes the text hard to read however if you select an image, it appears with a nice cream coloured background. I would like front page to have the same coloured background. How do i go about doing that

Any help is greatly appriciated

I have a problem:

I changed your mod, so that created 3 photos: (small, medium and large). I used to create the medium photo the same code that you used to create the thumb, but I have a photo too big ... where I can set the size of files?

Hi all, I'm new in smf. I have an smf forum and I installed it through the forum's packages. (not a manual install) I have gave Writen permissions on the Gallery folder through my ftp client.

I have also created the categories but when I go to the link of my gallery I get this page:

Is there a way to change the 4 character limit on searching in SMF Gallery Lite?  We have users searching for 3 characters and they are getting an error that the search needs to be more than 3 characters

You would need to change the hardcoded limit in Sources/Gallery.php

Not in the lite version. You could customize the query to force it to search to one category only based on ID_CAT

When I'm accessing it from there and then go to permissions I see the permissions ONLY for the forum. I don't see the permissions for the gallery.
