Awesome buttons, but when I try to load the PSD into Photoshop, it doesn't let me edit the the text so I can't get the same formatting/style when using new text to make a "Forum" button.  Any help is appreciated.

How did you modify the font? You write that it's verdana bold 7pt, but don't now how to make this outline effect in gimp (wont' use photoshop).

Agent, you seem to have missed the point of this topic I think. The buttons in this topic are for replacing your existing buttons. It has nothing to do with CSS. I'm trying to figure out where you even got the notion that editing CSS is involved... ? Can you explain further? If your issue is not related to this topic could you post in a new topic? thanks.
