I used that package and it installed and works fine on RC4

Do you have other mods installed?
Chances are one of the other mods changed a portion of that code by adding something.

If that was the only failed test, attach your ManageBoards.template.php file and I'll edit it for you if you don't know how to edit it.

Yeah I've just installed a fresh forum RC4 and have not installed anything yet..........

I will upload ManageBoards.template.php in about an hour as I can't do it from work due to restrictions etc.........

Are you using a custom theme?

If you have no mods on it, yet.. and are using one of the themes included in the RC4 download, I can just attach the ManageBoards.template here and you can upload it to your forum and then install the mod and ignore the failed test.

Just let me know what theme.

It's a simple error for that edit.

It is looking for:
<textarea name="desc" rows="3" cols="35" style="width: 100%">', $context['board']['description'], '</textarea>

But your file has:
<textarea name="desc" rows="3" cols="35" style="width: 99%">', $context['board']['description'], '</textarea>

So, the test fails.

I just searched for the first part of that line up to cols and easily found where to put the info.

If someone could please help it would be much appreciated. I've had this installed on my site for quite a while and it works great on the main page. But I can't get images to show up on the child boards. Can anyone help me fix this? I've read through everything and just can't get it to work.

I'm running SMF 1.1.11 and Images On Board 2.0

I've used this mod for some time and upgraded from RC2 to RC4. I tried installing the version you suggested and got the same error that Verso got.

Execute Modification    ./Themes/default/ManageBoards.template.php    Test failed

I found the entry and, based on your comments, changed 99% to 100% and the install no longer shows an error there. Now it shows an error in the core files listed below:

Core Theme 
   Execute Modification ./Themes/core/Settings.template.php Test successful
  1. Add After ./Themes/core/Settings.template.php Test successful

   Execute Modification ./Themes/core/BoardIndex.template.php Test failed
  1. Add After ./Themes/core/BoardIndex.template.php Test failed

   Execute Modification ./Themes/core/MessageIndex.template.php Test failed
  1. Add After ./Themes/core/MessageIndex.template.php Test failed

Any ideas as to what my be generating these errors?

Sorry, I was in a bit of a rush when I replied, but I'm finally done wrapping Xmas presents and have time before I pass out.  LOL

Let me make sure I got this straight.  How many failed tests did you have all together?

ManageBoards.template.php has a failed test
BoardIndex.template.php has a failed test
MessageIndex.php has a failed test

You probably have something installed already that is using the same code and replaced something.

Have you finished installing this mod?

Attach the BoardIndex.template.php and MessageIndex.template.php files.

Well, I'll bet you're happy that's over with. Merry Christmas, BTW.

When I first tried to install the mod, it generated the ManageBoards.template.php error. I went into that file, and based on the discussion in this thread, I edited it on the line indicated and changed the 99% to 100%, then tried to install again.

This time, it did not generate any ManageBoards.template.php errors, but instead generated core file (BoardIndex.template.php and MessageIndex.template.php) errors.

I was never able to sucessfully install the mod. My ManageBoards.template.php and BoardIndex.template.php files are attached.
