Nope, that would be up to vbgamer45, since it is an addition to SMFshop not SMG

I'm having an issue with the albums.  I started a new web site

the only mods I have installed are
Simpleportal 2.2
Hacksshout box
And the gallery mod

I installed without errors made my folders (albums) but when I try to upload a picture I get this error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/*******/public_html/rc1-1/Sources/Subs-Graphics.php on line 227

Any idea?

Awesome! That worked like a charm.  Still have memberid error in mgallery.template.php
You can refer to my previous post(s) on the error or I can re-post the error and attach files.

It continue to work fine but this album and it's elements is still present in: search; sa=mgallery and sa=mgalitems
Is there any way to hidden from all an specific album (simply to protect users) but maintain accessible?

I wanted to know if there is a way to show the number of new images posted since your last visit on the Gallery tab like SMF does for your Messages.

Never got an answer on this question and just wanted to follow up.  It would be a great feature to be able to see if there are new images without having to go into the Gallery.

It would be technically possible but I'm not eager to do that.
Just post a link to the Unseen Area. At least you're one click away to the latest uploads

Actually thats not true.  It would have to the SMG that codes this feature in.  SMF Shop wouldn't need to be touched to make this happen.  SMF Gallery has it as a feature that if the shop is installed, then tokens or points (whatever they are called on an individuals forum) are awarded for uploads and comments....and they was a feature that came in SMF Gallery and required nothing on the part of the Shop and was done before VBgamer took over the Shop mod.

Hi Everybody,

I have some problems with the MediaGallery. Actually you might figure out really quick, that it is actually a problem with the databank, but it only occurs in context with the gallery.
Ok, I have the following situation:

I do owe some webspace and an url, I am allowd to have 2 mysql databanks and I'm running a forum with the Media Gallery. It works just fine. (I just switched recently from SMF Gallery to the SMF Media Gallery).

Now I installed a second forum in a subfolder. I opened the second databank, set everything up and everything works. Next I install the media gallery without any trouble. I open up a new album, pick a picture to upload and when I click upload, I get an empty page. The picture is on the server ( my ftp client displays it all right) but not in the album. The same if I pick the multiple file upload. I can pick the files, click upload and after the first image, the scripts gets stucked somehow. the first picture is again on the server, but no in the gallery. If I remove this image, and click upload again, the next one is uploaded, but again it gets stucked.

It seems like there is some problem with puting them into the database, but everything else works... There are entries in the database, even the album is display properly. And with the exact same settings the other forum works fine. I have reinstalled the forum and mod about 20 times, tried my old version and updated it to 1.1.9, but nothing will work.
If I install the SMF Gallery, I do have the same problems. Any ideas? Are there principle problems with to galleries at the same hoster?

This album's directory couldn't be properly created, please make sure mgal_data and mgal_data/albums is chmodded to 777

i ve this error but my chmods are already 777, i couldnt understand the problem & i need this mod

Try 0755 instead.
Also make sure PHP safe mode isn't enabled.

One thing - when I try and upload an MP3 I get :

An error happened during the upload process, please try again or contact the administrator.

The file is smaller than Max file size...

Using SMF 1.1.9 and default theme.

2) Does anyone know how to convert from Gallery2 to SMF Media Gallery?

Where is, or where should, php.ini be located?
