I have installed this mod, but i can't use embed code from Youtube. Meaby i did something wrong. Can i get help from somebody that is really god with this please?

I'm afraid I don't have this problem... Tested on album names and picture uploads.

I just now made an album called "Sam's Test" and when I went to add an image the same exact thing happened.  So it indeed does happen.

Sorry, i can see i gave you to few infos on my details here. I use SMF 1.1.5 & have installed following mods so far:

My problems is that i cant use embed codes from Youtube, which was the reason i wanted this gallery, to use those embed codes. it seems that i cant upload music either. Im not good with coding and fixing this, so i need help. Would really appreciate it if someone can help me.

Is there anything in error log? Can you tell me the link to the YouTube video you're trying to embed? What's the extension of Music file you are trying to upload?

When i go maintenance i get no error when i search for it. Here is the embed code for youtube:

You don't need to use the full embed code, just the link in your browser to embed it. It creates the code itself.

1.1.6 and magic_quotes_gpc is on.

I also noticed that items have been removed on my test gallery.  3 users have setup accounts, 1 added an image and the other a youtube video embed within 10 minutes of each other.  This morning both were removed within 10 minutes of each other, and the moderation log shows blank on who did it.  Is there an auto removed function?

Perhaps my problem doesn't seem as important as others' with this mod, but I can't help but think there's an easy fix for it if someone would point me in the right direction.

I've already stated quite a few times that I use only English, and that's also what my forum is set for ---- I don't believe I even have the other "English UTF-8" (or whatever it's called) installed because of similar issues with other mods back in the day.

Everything installed okay by appearance ---- I checked through the files manually and didn't see anything that came immediately to mind as being incorrect.

From previous:

I just installed this mod into 1.1.6, custom theme, and when I went into "Permissions" to set up the Gallery, the text was missing (see pic).

I checked through the mod manually, and everything appears to be in order. I also made sure that the text (language) was also included in the custom theme language folder as well, as I've run into that before.

In addition, I'm also unable to see the "Gallery" text on the Board Index "tabs".

Forgot to mention:

I also see the extra "space" between the tab text, but no "Gallery" (see pic).

I would really love to be able to use this mod on my forum ---- it looks like a fabulous mod, when it's working...

Does your theme have a custom modifications.english.php in languages folder? If so copy the strings from default theme's Modifications.english.php to your theme's.

Thank you. That did it this time. How weird because I'd tried that initially when I installed. It didn't work, so I removed it. Now it did. Computers. Bah. LOL.

No errors encountered whatsoever.

Until i found out that some members are uploading pictures as icon, its as large as the forum itself. 

How can i solve this issue???

This mod is on my site. Seems to work. But one problem. Embedding from you tube works. but when i upload a .wmv from my desktop it just plays the sound. No video. Does that will all the extensions i tried. .wmv, mpg, and so on.

ok no solution for this one.
so user album will be no use since they wont usually follow your instructions. 

how about the layout, do we have any hack to show picture/items at the top while the item info and uploader info will be below it  instead of left side?
Just like what the DEMO shows.
Im using the default theme.
