The SMF media gallery brought us too many problems...

I had to uninstall the Pageear mod...
More information might help. What problems?

Does normal upload works?

Dragooon

Hm..Does clearing your cookies/cache and re-logging in and re-uploading works? If not can you PM me an account with mass upload permissions.

smf 1.1.7 and Tinyportal, with coppermine

Installed with one click and no errors.
Conversion of coppermine went through without an error - all albums, comments, everything.
Absolutely bl**dy perfect!

Very many thanks. Most appreciated  :D

What should I now do with coppermine? Can I delete the folder and bridge?

Dragooon

Coppermine is not needed anymore now. If you want you can keep it just in case or delete it. But I'd recommend keeping a backup of files and DB and deleting it from your server.

@Mass Upload issues - Please install crossdomain.xml(Google it). It is a XML fie for security used by flash. It has a 90% chance that your mass upload is broken by this.

downloaded it edited it to my domain what directory should this go in? main smf?

Nao 尚

This should go to the root of your domain name. This is all explained via a Google search... We didn't invent that security feature ;)

I keep on getting this error.  How do I fix it:
The file has a invalid extension

It happens when I try to upload a zip file.

This is a media gallery. Not a downloads mod.
.zip is not an image, movie, or sound file extension.

*  Maximum File Size Allowed: 1024 KB
    * Please note that this feature will not work if you disabled Javascript or Flash support in your browser.

Allowed File types:

    * Image files: bmp, png, gif, jpg, jpe, jpeg
    * Audio files: mp2, mp3, mpga, ram, ra, wax, wma, m4a, a-latm, ogg, rpm, mka, wav
    * Video files: avi, mpg, mpeg, mpe, wmv, mxu, m4u, movie, qt, mov, rv, flv, mp4, mkv
    * Multimedia archives: zip

That is what is says for the mass upload.  I tried uploading an image, and the image didn't show up either.

That may be the problem, but when I chmod it, it doesn't work:
chmod failed: Operation not permitted in

But not even regular images work...should I try an older version?

That looks like code for SimplePortal, not SMF Media Gallery.
