I'm interested in using this mod but have a question...

Most of my website uses SSI, my home page and my sub-pages use forum topics as the source for the page content (Wiki style). If I install this mod, can I show all the galleries on a non-SMF page using SSI?

So using that method, it won't look like an SMF forum anymore, right? My main website is not like an SMF portal, it's a completely different design so I need to use this mod but not have it look as if it is part of SMF.

You can't use as a (full) standalone for smf.

"SMG is a mod that integrates within your SMF install", doesn't it?

Yeah, Mark. It'll work just fine. You can trust me on that, lol ;) I know you have decent knowledge of PHP etc so you'll be in known territory.
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Aeva Media rocks your life.

maybe I missed it, but when I have the mass upload enabled the "Select files" button doesn't show up in IE. It shows fine in Firefox, but just a blank spot in IE. I've attached the 2 separate screen shots.
Any idea? What do I need to add where to fix this?

Thanks,
Thanks Much

I will come begging for YOUR help since you wrote it and know how it works

Thanks,

In either ie or firefox you have overridden the websites colors scheme. Check your options in both browsers.

update from 1.5.3 to 1.5.4 without problem :)
1) replace via ftp all files
2) put in your forum directory and run db_mgallery.php (delete when you have finish)
3) replace from backup only hs.css and style.css (with my custom)
4) put new archive in /Packages directory, delete old 1.5.3 and fix installed.list file

Thanks, great work! ;)

@ akhyne - no errors in my log.
@LinK187 - I have my site up on 2 separate computers. IE on both of them are set to use the "default" colors for the site - at least from what I can tell. The "upload" button shows fine, just not the "Select files" button doesn't show up in IE. Firefox shows both buttons fine. Is there something I can do in IE to make sure it's set right?

oops, forgot My site

The it must be theme specific because on my forum it looks the same in ie, ff, opera, and chrome.

ke4obt

I'm using SMF 1.1.8, SMG 1.5.4, default theme on SMF. That doesn't sound logical to me - being a theme-related issue.

You must have done something to a .css file somewhere or ff and or ie is not up to date.

<span id="browseBtnSpan" style="z-index: 1"><a id="browseBtn" href="#">Select files</a></span> |
<a id="upload" href="#">Upload</a>
</p>

Is this what you mean by being in the code of the page?

@LinK187 - I don't know enough about coding to go anywhere near a .css file :)  and both IE and FF were just updated. *scratches head*

Then I'm at a loss. :\

My code is the same. Can you still click the non-existing link? If you can't, then your browser must be messed up.

Can you attach all the code from the page? You are using IE7, right?

Ehh.. I just looked at your attached IE image. There's a white square where the text should be. Did you cut something out?

no, didn't cut anything out. that little white square shows up on one of my computers, not the other (figure that one out).
put the source code in a text file to make for a little easier reading. :)
