@Blinker & Lord> Also, can you try to uninstall b5, reinstall b4 (it's still on the mod page) and see if the error goes away? If yes, I'll try to fix it...

I'm planning on doing just that either later tonight (after the Packers game) or tomorrow morning before I go into work.  I'll keep you posted.

Blinker

I'll uninstall 2b5 and install 2b4 tonight and get back to you, probably around 12 hours from now.

Hi.  I'm using SMF Media Gallery with EzPortal, and I'd like to add blocks for both recent gallery items as well as a scrolling bar of all gallery items.  Is there PHP code for this I can add to a portal php block?

Bozilla, I pm'ed you earlier.
Thanks, it's working fine now after a fresh install! I think that image highslider mod I had installed was causing some interference!?

Confirmed, Nao.  I redownloaded both v2b4 and v2b5.  I uninstalled v2b5, deleted it, and installed v2b4 again...didn't have any problems.  Then, to confirm, I uninstalled v2b4 and reinstalled v2b5...same problems: I couldn't edit or upload files.

So, I once again removed v2b5 and am now running v2b4.  I've reconfirmed that I can edit and upload files without getting the session time out errors.

Oh...this is on SMF v1.1.10.

Warlock, I think I've found it... I had nearly finished writing a long message asking you what your permission settings were, until I looked into my code, searched for checkSession stuff and realized the one in the Post() function was updated to work on SMF 2.0 RC2 but not RC1 (I believe) and earlier versions ;)

I changed a line in MGallery.php that you may want to revert back to its beta 4 counterpart. It's partly my fault, partly Dragooon's :P

Reinstall beta 5.
Line 1412 in that file, replace
'fieldname' => $context['session_var'],
With
'fieldname' => $context['session_var'] == 'sesc' ? 'sc' : $context['session_var'],

It should work, now.
I will issue a re-release later tomorrow (maybe as "beta 5.1" or something... Not worthy of a full beta number upgrade.)
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Thanks, Nao.  I'll give it a shot in 3-4 hours...when I get home.  I'll post an update for you then.

LHW

Nao: That seems to have fixed the problem!  Good job!

Thanks!  :)

Is there a way to add some kind of adult filter that can be switched on/off?

Blinker

Nao - your session fix did the trick. All's working fine, thanks a lot. :)

Getting these errors in the SMF error log when I run a check for orphan files in SMG maintenance:

8: unserialize(): Argument is not a string
File: /home/content/a/l/c/xxxxxxxxx/html/forum/Sources/MGallery-Admin.php
Line: 1751

8: Undefined index: orphans
File: /home/content/a/l/c/xxxxxxxxx/html/forum/Sources/MGallery-Admin.php
Line: 1751

For the record, it doesn't find any orphan files.

Blinker, did you install beta 5 with the package installer, or manually? Did you run db_install.php? Just to make sure...

Nao, I did a clean install with the package manager. It had one very minor error in load.php which I did manually (all other edits in that file worked fine on auto).

I'm pretty sure db_install.php ran automatically because after the install I saw that big block of post-install text above the package manager saying that all my db tables already exist (which they should, from prior installs).

I've never run db_install.php manually. Should I be doing that?

Mr_Lon

I just installed SMF Media Gallery 2.0 beta 5  on my SMF 2.0 RC1.2 forums.

But I have a problem with the pictures - Some are scrambled and don't show good at all?

My "GALLERY" button shows "GALLERY (2) - is this right?

Any Help Please.

Lon

TheListener

The number next to the gallery on the tab just means that you have 2 unviewed pictures in the gallery.

Nao 尚

@blinker, no you shouldn't have to do that... Anyway, I don't see why your orphens variable is empty. What's in your smf_mgallery_settings table? Can you find the orphans variable in it?

I got it working..... I had to reload the bad images?
