Keep existing URL

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with this question.

I succesfully converted a phpbb forum  to smf.
I want the forum to be at the URL it was before so;

now it is in

hxxp:www.forumname.com/smf [nonactive]

I want it to be where phpbb was/is:

hxxp:www.forumname.com/ [nonactive]

Am i doing something wrong or should I delete al phpbb folders/files and reinstall smf in the main directory? Is this even possible?

You need to move everything in /smf to the root forum, then run repair_settins.php
