Upgraded from 1.1.8 to 2.0 RC1 - can't upload avatars or modify/edit smileys

I had to upload language files separately - apparently the ones I had were out of date and were causing the problem.  I just updated those lang files and now options are available (at least for the Smileys).








I upgraded from 1.1.8 today to 2.0 RC1 and can't find any way to upload member avatars, not even my own.  I'm hoping this is a 'doh!' situation, and I'm just not getting how or where to do it or simply overlooking something obvious.

That said, I noticed when I go to my account here, I'm not able to upload an avatar either - I don't find a place to do that under Profile.

As for the Smileys, I don't see any buttons that say edit or modify or anything like that.  And how do i get the nifty smileys i see here on this forum?  The ones I have are like the ones from the previous versions....

Can someone help me out?  Can I downgrade to 1.1.8?
