This mod adds the ability to promote and demote pages so that they are flagged as 'news'. Topics flagged as news will be prefixed with [News] (you can change the prefix in the admin center).

I created this mod so that I could flag certain topics as news and display those topics on an external section of my website. A similar system is in place at AusGamers.

I don't expect this mod to be useful to very many people but since I needed it for one of my websites I figured I would make it public in case someone else needs this functionality.

Yeah if you got the latest post flagged as news. I will be making an SSI function to get news posts, might make a latest news posts one as well. This might not happen for a long time though, need to find the time to do it.

i don't have hope from author :) i tried because maybe there is someone with coding knowledge and same desire to make this thing :D

if you mean this one, this is not a prefix mod this is just a brochure for the paid mod.

It is a prefix mod. You can download it from that very page! It's just not as powerful as the paid version, but it is workable - if it didn't work, the page would have been removed.

thank you but this prefix mod is not doing prefix, its just changing the topic's name.
