Really...? Thanks, I'll look into this shortly. After I get some work caught up outside of directly modding, I am going to go through all of my personal mods that I wrote and make sure they're bug-free in addition to some updates...

Thanks for this, but in boards instead of showing "Board Name - Forum Name" or "Forum Name - Board Name" it just shows the same as the Board Index - namely "Home - Forum Name" or "Forum Name - Home".

Sorry, looks like I was wrong after checking it with another SMF installation where it works fine - I'm guessing a possible conflict with SimplePortal then.

As far as I know it shouldn't conflict with SimplePortal...

Just tested by uninstalling SimplePortal and it all shows correctly then, but with SimplePortal installed it has the issue with the boards (regardless of whether it is set to Disabled, Portal, Integrated or Standalone) and topics (only just noticed for the topics).

It shows correctly for the rest of the forums with SimplePortal installed (Profiles, Admin, Search, etc.) though.

EDIT: Also (not affected by SimplePortal) - with this installed, the forum name shows twice in the title for the Statistics Center.

Would you please provide a link to your forum please? Either via PM or reply...whichever you prefer - I'd appreciate it.

Hello,

Thanks for this update.

I have a question about this mod.

By installing this mod, the forum title of my homepage is changed from:
Forum Name - ForumIndex       to
Forum Name - ForumIndex - Forum Name

How do I remove the second Forum Name from the homepage only?

Matthew K.

When you say homepage, are you using a Portal?

PatrickForum

No, just my normal /index.php page. The first page of the forum where visitors come in, normally.

PatrickForum

I think I don't. But where can I check this setting?

Would you please attach index.english.php (./Themes/default/languages)

PatrickForum

Sure. Thanks for helping me out. My forum is in dutch by the way.
But here are both files.

Matthew K.

Well that's the problem.

Here is your file...should work.

PatrickForum

Thanks a lot. But I have another question about this plugin if you don't mind  :)

I have selected the option "After Page Title". This is how I want to have it,
but at the homepage my title is now: ForumIndex - My Forum Name.

Because Google puts more weight at the beginning at the title tag, I want to turn the forum name (only at the homepage) to the beginning and ForumIndex after the forum title: My Forum Name - ForumIndex (only at the homepage)

Is there any way to do this?

Besides that, is the addthis mod from you too? http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2483
That mod doesnt work on RC 2.4. When I try to install the package on my forum, it says:
There are no installation operations defined!

PatrickForum

Who can help me with the last question, please?
