Simple Audio Video Embedder

I notice that Twitch videos are getting displayed 480x600 no matter at what default resolution is configured.

Is there any way someone can help me make this small adjustment to the code or database that would fix it?
When I edit the source manually it displays the video at the correct size:

I uninstalled v5, tried to install 7.0.5 and I get

fclose(): Argument #1 ($stream) must be of type resource, bool given

I checked in SMF error log and php logs but could not find any further info, it points to zip file.

Is is possible to show the video on the preview post page? Or at least the video's thumbnail?

For YouTube, you can do it like this :

Grab the video ID :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hYlB38asDY

Insert it like below :
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/8hYlB38asDY/hqdefault.jpg

Actually, the question is why can't I get Simple Audio Video Embedder to work period in SMF 2.1.4 © 2023, Simple Machines. No setting that I've found short of the settings page will even address this problem. Am I overlooking a setting in the board its self? Thanks for the help. Didn't see anything in this thread.

What video url are you embedding? Make sure the site is checked and listed under settings.

The video link does not work in preview. Can this be possible. Also in the post itself there is no video preview or thumbnail, the video is just blank. I am using local/Remote MP4. Is there a setting that I do not see that can make something show?

I spent much time trying to get this to work in preview until I actually posted the message after reading this thread and the information on the MOD site. Just post the link and it will work if you have checked the proper items in settings.

There was an issue with previews which broke something so disabled it maybe check chanelog i dont remember reason why as it was a while back

It looks like the regex will match the embed code too? So that might be the issue.

Any other ideas? Maybe something wrong with regex itself or the parsing code?

This one is correct regexp:

It seems like I had to limit the search of ".*" with ".*?". Thanks for help and amazing plugin.
