The next version will be Beta 3 because I'm adding a bunch of new features. The version after that will probably be RC1, but that depends on whether or not the need for more features arises. I'm planning to start work on Beta 3 in a couple of weeks - the end of the term is November 7th, so I should have more time then to work on things for a few weeks.

I'd really like to use this merged combo... but in the meantime I need to get this site going. Can I upload them both individually and then later merge them?

Yep. When users access the embedded gallery for the first time, they'll have a choice between creating a new account in the gallery or linking their forum account with an existing account in the gallery, so you'll be able to merge them later on without any problems.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply. I'm thinking of trying out your beta for this site. When the mod is released will I be able to upgrade from the beta version without re-installing/losing data?

I tried to register to your site, but with no joy, I even tried 2 seperate e-mail addresses and checked both the main boxes and the spam boxes with no luck, I even waited 30 minutes to see if it was due to a delay and still no joy.

growwl - I haven't had the email activation feature enabled for a few weeks now (I disabled it after a spammer got my host blacklisted on SpamHaus), so you should be able to login immediately without activating your account. If you joined when I still had activation enabled, I will go activate your account in a few minutes.

Is this still beta or do you have a finished version out? I would like to integrate this into a site of mine but don't want to if it isn't ready.
