Use firebug to find the classes used in each place. That's valid for all themes

So not content with using the Gearbox theme from DzinerStudio, which is a paid theme that you haven't paid for (and you made clear you're not willing to pay for), you couldn't even adhere to the rules that the paying customers abide by (as in: you need to leave the footer copyright intact rather than modifying it as you have)

Please explain to me why we should offer support.

Do you have any idea how many people using YOUR paid themes come here asking for help and they get it. Now you caught me and you're scavanging through the forums till you see me post a question and ruin me. Im not doing anything different than a lot of the other people using those themes. I made it "clear" I wouldn't pay for an overpriced packet just for me to use 2 themes out of it. I would've bought this theme for sure if I could pick individual themes for a good price, unfortunately I don't have the money to invest in a legitimate license just so I can use ONE theme I liked, why in the world would I  spend 50$ on that ****** when I can get it for free. I respect the hard work put into these themes but I simply can't afford the elegancy of having that membership.

as for changing the copyrights, I was trying to add that as its own thing while trying to figure out how to change the font colour. I changed it back and I would've changed it anyways eventually.

I just want to make my forum and learn why are you giving me such a hard time.

As for my question I found it on my own thanks for the help....

My paid themes? I don't make paid themes. I'm a *customer* of DzinerStudios, not a team member.

Respect? Seriously? That's the line you're going with? Someone who respects the work of another wouldn't ignore 1) the fact that it is paid (if it is paid, just because you disagree with the price does not give you the right to use it anyway) and 2) the terms and conditions of all DzinerStudios themes is to not modify the copyright. When you say you just changed it, I'm sorry, I don't believe you - if you were just legitimately changing the colour, you wouldn't change the name to CodeMagic instead of Gearbox (though I see you've changed that back), and you certainly wouldn't remove the backlink to DzinerStudios which is a required aspect of all their themes.

I don't have respect for people that flout the rules.

But since it's clear that my input isn't wanted, that's fine. I don't have anything left outstanding to commit for SMF 2.1, and I refuse to contribute my free time for the benefit of ungrateful, disrespectful people.

Alright I am sorry what do you want me to do? Use a free theme that Im not so happy with and start over??? would that satisfy you?

Whether or not you believe me, I wasn't going to take credit for Dzinerstudios theme I was just messing around with my site I don't know what else you want me to say I dont need to give you a perfect explanation, what was done was done even if it seems like I was onto something else. I just came here for some help I had no intention of making you pissed off, Im not a disrespectful person at all you came onto me. Im simply a noob just trying to make a cool/nice site for what I want to do and beginners don't usually throw money into stuff they just got into. I get 100% your perspective of this but its just the way she goes in the internets when the chance is there.

I feel like I will not be able to ask anything on simplemachines anymore because of this when Im not the only one doing it. Im not on Dzinerstudio's site anymore so I dont understand why Im getting littered with hate for this again on these forums, I had no intentions of anything negative Im just doing my own thing and need help everyone starts somewhere and this is what Im doing.

Your input was just you pointing things out that Im doing wrong. You even went as far as to examine my forum for things to point out when you already knew you weren't going to help me. If you don't like me for what I did why would you not let me be and skip over my thread, since you already previously confronted me about my theme and instead maybe let other people help me out. Your word obviously goes beyond mine since you have had  a lot of contribution to these forums so everyones gonna have your side and this simply isn't helping my case. I didn't want to start anything, Ive asked questions before and got answers and now Im an ungrateful/disrespectful prick now that you know Im using a premium theme. I really liked that theme and this just blew out of proportion because of it.

you cannot expect assistance when you failed to abide to the Rule and regulations guarding one body.

1. you got a paid them for FREE ( of which seems as ILLEGAL )

2. You also removed one's efforts (copyright) when you cannot efforts the FULL LICENSE

doesn't make sense to me though

well, a few things...
1- we have pointed out to you that theme questions really need to be asked to the theme author in the support thread or on the support site.  If you are not getting support there, there might be a reason...   and even if there is not, that does not make it right to ask for support on a custom theme here in the SMF support (we support the core product here)

2- unfortunately (for you) your attitude toward paying for things you are going to use is likely to color the responses (or lack thereof) to your future questions.

3- we'll see what your future questions are.........
Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

I'd rather have lack of answers than have bad rep around the forums due to this thread lol

about future questions, Margarett told me to use Firebug as you can see above. Tried it out and it works wonders for me I can actually find all the little text colours and exact locations of things fast instead of having to ask on here about trying for time but I was able to overhaul my forums the way I wanted to so thanks Margarett :p
dont expect any of these questions in the future if I have any it'll probably be about mods or errors or if I broke something lol
in the end the first response ended up solving any future questions that I for sure would've had.  8)
