FFS. My mum is 84 and has an Apple laptop, iPad and iPhone. She runs the music from her iPad via Bluetooth to her car's speakers when she's driving. Using basic modern technology is really not that hard. Plenty of older people do it.
OTOH my wife is 60 and hopeless at tech stuff.
Age has nothing to do with it.
Yep... My mother lived with two nerds for almost decades and refused to ever touch anything remotely technological or learn about new things. Finally, at her 50s, she was mildly convinced with a wii and later forced onto a smartphone, which she now uses. Now she stopped saying "this stuff is too hard for me" and so on.
If you don't want to, you don't learn anything.
So true, if you refuse to even try, you never know what you missed.. My wife is 5 years older than me, and if the radio doesn't have knobs on it she can't use it..
I never touched a computer until I retired. I actually picked up on it from my boss, she taught me some simple stuff, got hooked, been learning ever since..
Just wish I had learned some coding, so I could help get smf 2.1 out..
So @ Arantor, when is 2.1 coming out..
