MySpace Field

i have one backup from week ago im newbie in SMF and i dont know how to uss the back up i have some changes which i make but they are not fatal i may dune them agen can somebody help how to remove the mod please

ok , I had the myspace mod, and it was working correctly as was my other mods, until i installed and tried to use the Seo4SMF mod, which ultimately crashed my forum.

After having to overwrite all the SMF files, upon doing so i found the myspace mod stayed, not only that but it made 2 instances. It doesnt show up in my mod list in package manager, however, in the profile was 2 entries boxes, on the post-profile were two links/images for it.....

here's the problem, i have been able to find and bring the count of instances down to 1, in the profile field, and the post profiles, however, I havent been able to get it listed in the mod listing in package manager or I havent found where to find the string to remedy the problem in the following link*

in the $themedir/Who.template.php, find this. You should only have one.

',$member['myspace']['link'], '

you can also fix the package manager list by going into your package folder, find the file installed.list and add this line...

MySpace Field|^|myspace.zip|^|snork13:MySpace|^|2.4

save the file and upload over the old installed.list

be sure to make a backup of the files when editing manually.

Just out of curiosity, I also installed the autosig mod which I'd noticed ads fields called 'myspace' onto it.  Does this mod conflict with the autosig mod?

Since the latest version of the forum has been implemented 1.1.4 several modifications are not yet updated.
Please update the MySpace field mod as our users do use it and love it.

Hi!

I got a problem with my memberlist.template ... I alter this php file manually by the way because this is the only file with test failed.I realised that there is a gray box situated at the right side of the alphabetical member search area on the memberlist page.It's because I do not know which colspan to alter and I've installed other mods as well .....

Attached is my Memberlist.template.php,Kindly advise which parameters should I alter to make sure that the gray box on the right side of the alphabetical member search(ABCDEFGHI...Z) is removed and the alphabetical search is shifted to extreme right.

Hello Snork13. Thank you for a great mod. I'm trying to follow your code to see how I can add a custom profile (the only other mod I'm using) field (company) to my memberslist as you have added myspace. I've been looking through the files that your mod modifies (all 13 of them), but I'm not sure how/where to add the information for the new 'company' field. Your expertise is greatly appreciated. you already have the col in the database, you will need to remove it first. do you know phpmyadmin, or have access to the database to delete the col?

Edit:Okay, I had used this mod, and then when I upgraded it was no longer supported, so I just uninstalled it and didn't delete it. Eventually I found a different similar mod and installed it. That ended up causing 2 myspace fields in the profiles. So I uninstalled and deleted them both; and those two feilds are still there.

I'm having a problem with this mod. I install it and checked to see if it worked and it doesn't.
I have SMF version 1.1.4
