Has this happened to anyone else . I see that my google adsense ads placed in this module ONLY appear .in Firefox . They are ignored by any other browser . Please look at examples at www.yorubaland.org  and www.kampuskommunity.com

I tested with FireFox 3 and Internet Explorer 8.

The Google ads show for me at the bottom on both.

Couple of questions regarding the advert management mod for v2b4.

1) Can it handle a javascript code within a html code? see code I'm trying to use:

2) Is there a way I can display 2 different adverts at the bottom of the page side by side.

On this second 1 I have tried aligning the divs left and right. but all they do is alternate between the adverts. Ideally I would like them both permanently positioned.

I wonder whether you have been able to sort out the above issue.  I have managed to post two adverts one after other.  All that I did was to paste the html codes in the same content box by separating them by a bit of space(say two or three line space) .

Following this board for some time and trying all tips its still not working for me.
Solved it in a different way. Made a link page with ads in html. Users can choose to see links (and ads) or not. Forum is clean without ads!

I have installed the mod but the ads are not showing to all places/pages. I use the default them, so i wonder what is going wrong...Can anyone check my files or give advice?

Go to members menu and modify the permissions by enabling ads.

Open up the package-info.xml in the zip of the ad mod and look for 1.1.6, change it to or add 1.1.7 and repack the mod. See if it installs. It should with no problems.

Try it on a test site if you like but it should work fine. If you see any errors when trying to install just don't install.

I have installed this mod. Now I have added a simple banner to it but it is not showing at all. I have tried to add ads from bidvertiser, not showing.

I have SMF v1.1.7. My theme is DilberMC.

You have to manually install the mod into custom themes.

I am very new to this, but am pretty sure that I installed the mod correctly (ad_mod_1-1-x_v2-3.zip ) however it did not show up under the heading "Configuration". Any idea what went wrong? I downloaded then uploaded the mod, then ran the install. However it does not show up.

If you have ads set for all pages it should also show on login page.
