Ad Management mod

Hi,

I have SMF 1.1.9 and Ad Managment 2.3 installed.

I want to upgrade using ad_mod_v2-3-6_SMF_v2-0RC2.zip.

Do I have to uninstall the previous version first ?

You can only upgrade to that if you are going to use SMF 2.0 RC2. In any case when you upgrade the mod's code will be removed.

Hi,
I removed the previous version, and installed ad_mod_v2-3-1_SMF_v1-1-x.zip.

I have a problem that I had with the other version.
I want to delete an ad, but the delete button don't delete it.
Were are the ads stored ? can I manually delete it ?

Please read the posts in the last couple pages if you are using a custom theme.

I have read all posts on prevoius pages but when i try to edit my index.php i cant find the CODE: 'trackip' => array('Profile.php', 'trackIP'),
Please what else can I do?
I will appreciate your quick response as usual. Please I need to add Adsense to my forum to generate decent income online.

jydolikz: That sounds like you're trying to install the 2.0 version on 1.1.x. If you want to install the 1.1.x version, select version 2.3.1 of the ad mod before using the parse option.

There was a problem SMF RC2 with userarea.

It was not displaying ads in userarea. Is it solved ?

if youre asking how to install it to a different theme you have to edit manually the files

I tryed to manually edit the files according to smfads.com [nofollow], but i found instruction for SMF 1.1...., I need it for SMF 2.0 RC2. I tryed to change it, taking example from default theme and it didn't work also.

I changed your files assuming you'll use this version for the rest :
ad_mod_v2-3-5_SMF_v2-0RC1-1.zip

Don't forget to backup your php's files first, then :
1.Install the MOD automatically
2.Replace your theme files by these one.
3.Test.
4. Give feedback.

I have ad_mod_v2-3-6_SMF_v2-0RC2.zip version. I have ad management already installed for default theme. Problem occurred with manual modification of Core theme files. I couldn't make them work. But now, with Your modded files it seems, like it's working fine.

Edit: It has still problem. When I logout, then the forum goes wider and font goes bigger and the ad disappears.

You need to set permissions for guests to see ads...or have you done that.

I set my forum up in firefox and my ads display beautifully. 

I tried to view my site in IE and my ad is not there.  I then tried on a friends computer and didn't see my ads in firefox or IE.  The only computer that my ads appear is mine, and only in firefox.

I can't find place, where I can do this. Can You please show me the place. In ad management settings, I can't find such a place.
